I LOVE these cotton produce bags! We are really trying to be plastic-free in our house and this is such a great way to help with that. When I go grocery shopping, I use mesh bags instead of plastic bags for produce so that the cashier can see through them to see what I am buying. When I come home, I move the produce from the mesh bags to these bags. I put the mesh bags back in the trunk of my car with my reusable grocery bags so they are there next time I stop at the store. These bags keep the produce fresher and crisper than the mesh bags do in my fridge, and, plus, I need the mesh bags for my next shopping trip. I also use these bags to hold bread products instead of wrapping opened bread in plastic bags like I used to. These are not only cute, but keep the bread soft! I ordered myself another set too, to put smaller pieces of produce in for the fridge like half cucumbers, etc. I think I want at least one more big bag, too, for different bread I have lying around like bagels and rolls. Highly recommend to cut down on plastic bags and to keep things fresh!
